The French Love American-Style Cookies!
I've watched American cookies become increasingly popular in France over the last several years, to the point that almost all cafés and pastry shops now offer them, along with stores devoted entirely to them. To make these "French-style" American cookies even more gourmand, bake them in metal flan rings for a thicker cookie; then, while they are still slightly warm from the oven, press the bottom of a glass into the center to create a shallow indentation. Fill the shallow with caramel, ganache, nuts, dried fruits, etc. once the cookies have cooled. ENJOY!
