Lactem Café, Paris

Lactem Café in Paris (near Palais-Royal) is definitely worth a visit! I translated owner Hoëlle Jego's book, Your Home Coffee Shop (Hardie Grant), from French to English, scheduled for release in the fall of 2026. I had the pleasure of running into Hoëlle while at her shop, and she's very friendly and very excited to have her book available soon in English! She gave me one of her newest cookies—lemon poppy seed—to try. I love meeting the authors whose books I translate, especially if it’s a chef or business owner whose location I can visit.
